It was Eliot’s passage above that inspired us to make two single varietal wines made from the same grapes from the same vineyard that were harvested on the same day. We had one vision of a traditional Chenin Blanc and we found that making an Orange Chenin Blanc with the same grapes would make a lovely revision. Thus, our Visions & Revisions series came to life. Our Chenin Blanc is a luxurious expression of the grape as its hints of vanilla soften its bright green apple and green pear notes. Our Orange Chenin Blanc-- having been fermented with the grape skins for two weeks prior to barreling-- lends a more tropical expression of the grape with juicy notes of pineapple and tangerine.
